How much is a block and
what do I get for my money?

Well, each 10x10 block is a crisp fiver

a crisp fiver

But, in addition to your block, you get a hover banner advert the same size as that fiver above. For example:

Hover your cursor over these 4 blocks:

4 blocks

Cool eh? That's given you a 10x10 block and a 150x75 hover image for that fiver.

Want more? OK...

If you buy at least one block, I'll give you a free block if you link back to here!

Eh? Why? ...Well, I want this website as busy as possible and if you link back, then your website customers will come and take a look (after finishing at your site) but importantly to YOU, everyone else's customers will come and look too, and maybe visit YOUR site.

The Internet is all about networking, get your advert and website seen by a whole new audience.

Plus in my commitment to keeping things busy, I'll be ploughing money back into advertising and media attention.

Big Ben Facts and Figures

Officially known as St Stephen's Tower (or the Houses of Parliament Clock Tower) the iconic clock face and the famous chimes are well known around the world as a symbol of London. The tower was designed in a Victorian Gothic style and is 316 ft (96.3 m) tall.

The tower itself is commonly referred to as Big Ben, but "Big Ben" is actually the name of the largest of 5 bells inside the belfry of the clock tower.

The Big Ben bell weighs 13 tons 10 cwts 99 lbs (13,760 Kg). Big Ben was cast on Saturday 10th April 1858, in Whitechapel Bell Foundry in London. After the bell was installed, the first chime rung from the tower on 31st May 1859.

It is widely thought that the name comes from Sir Benjamin Hall who was Commissioner of Works when the bell was first installed in 1858.

Another more radical theory rumours that the bell was named after a then popular heavyweight boxer named Benjamin Caunt.

The accuracy of the clock movement is controlled by the placing of old pennies in the mechanism!
